Construction Challenges – New Build, Refurbishment, and Retrofit

Construction, whether it be new build, refurbishment, or retrofit, can often pose unexpected or peculiar access challenges. Whilst structures should be designed and projects planned with buildability in mind, it is not always the case that there is a straightforward, traditional solution.

Architecturally unusual structures, complex areas like factories or industrial facilities with intricate infrastructure, places over water, uneven floors, or just very high locations are where we come into our own.

Where MEWPs won’t reach and scaffolding is too hazardous and expensive, rope access and access platforms can almost always be your best option.

Early-Stage Collaboration ensures success

Speaking to CAN at an early stage about your requirements can be helpful for all parties. We can often suggest ways of undertaking work that might not be immediately apparent to others and help find unique solutions to challenges.

We are equally at home working with clients who have a very good idea of how a problem is to be addressed. We work closely with traditional professions and trades to deliver safe, high-quality work.
